Soft Tissue Treatment
Graston Technique, used by many university and professional sports teams, is extremely effective in resolving acute and chronic soft tissue (i.e. muscle, ligament) injuries and post-surgical scarring. Scar tissue forms at the site of a soft tissue injury (i.e. sprain, strain, neck and low back injury) limiting range of motion, causing pain in many instances, and preventing the patient from performing to the level prior to the injury. Utilizing Graston Technique’s stainless steel instruments scar tissue is broken down allowing the soft tissue to mobilize, thereby increasing range of motion and decreasing pain with immediate and lasting effects. Whether the injury was decades or days ago this soft tissue mobilization technique can have profound effects in returning lost range of motion and decreasing acute and chronic pain.
